Nice quote from Gus on Utahrc.com

Ben, believe me I know how hard it is to put on an event like this only to have people bending the rules, or ignoring them. I think the Porsche cup racing and all the scale racing you have done over the years is pretty cool stuff and it's unfortunate that it is an event like this where racers may only do this sort of racing once a year that you will find it is difficult to get people to understand the importance of scale appearance and uniform rules. Hats off for your patience and leniency to those who supported the race even though they did not completely conform to the guidlines that have been established. Inked on spokes ? That's a classic Ed. Good job and good attitude Ben. I'm sure your next endurance will be popular and Ed will find some proper tires. Keep up the good work , the hobby needs people like you.

I appreciate Gus' kind words. It is hard to promote stuff by yourself but in truth the racers do a great job spreading the word. I always hear through another person how much they enjoyed the race or racing. It's getting the word out that makes a difference. Hobby shops help too but nothing like the racer getting others involved. Thanks Gus.

I saw your website and went to check out your Petite LeMans race on Oct 13 at Fastkart but there was no race there and no one at Fastkart knew anything about it. Did it happen? and who can I call about more info on participating next year? Thanks, Rick Mizuta P.S.Hey Gus, How are you doing?
