Clete-a-Rossi

I found out today that our next race is Clete's last... He is moving to Portland and will be leaving our series unless there are cheap flights...

Clete started with us a couple of years ago in F1 and it's never been the same since. Racing and b.s.'ing has improved by having him around. I didn't think I could shoot a french fry out of my nose but Clete made me do it describing his near death defying off at Miller Motorsports Park. Having someone with real racing experience at our events helped consolidate the ideas we were implementing at our races are on the right track. The feedback from Clete has been invaluable as his suggestions have reinforced the direction of the club.

You can also thank Clete for Porsche Cup. The ideas were floating between us for a new series at last years ALMS race and Clete spelled out more or less the formula for Porsche Cup. Ants, Jer, Paul and I agreed and here we are. Thank you Clete!

I'm bummed that the big guy is going. But it won't be the last time we race with Clete. This much I know. He's been too much fun and added massive personality to our club.
