Rained Out
Professor, Troy, Fred, Mike, and I got to Fastkart to set up even with threatening skies. It looked as though the storm might skirt to the side of where we would set up. But as soon as the markers were unloaded with the hose the storm unleashed the rain. So as soon as it lightened up we packed it away and went to dinner.
The conversation was lively with many suggestions. Some highlights:
1. If we run on a prepped surface again such as Apex or IRCR stock motors will be allowed.
2. August 18th is the WVH race. If the use of the parking lot next to the hobby shop isn't confirmed tomorrow we will move the race. This is an ASERS event. So Porsche Cup will be run along with GT1, LMP1, and LMP2.
3. Several items for next year that need more planning and discussion.
The make-up race is next Wednesday, August 1st at 6 pm. Location TBA.
