Number stickers for Petit Le Mans

These number stickers were made on a laserjet printer but I was amazed at how well they stood up to the 2h 45m of punishment the racers gave them. We applied them to the car with a little bit of clear packing tape. Fred suggested going a little over the edges to protect the printing from bleeding in case of rain or fluids. Nice idea and they looked great on the cars. I wanted something realistic for the race on the cars whether it be the banner across the front windshield or whatever. No dish rims made it nice too. Thanks everyone for making the cars look real. I know how much effort it takes finding spoked rims in a dish world and staying up late to paint bodies that might be destroyed in one race.

Speaking on that note. We will think over the winter what to do about making a track that doesn't require the boards so the cars don't get banged up like they do with that type of track.

The great irony was Jer's connection with the team that Fred did for his paint scheme, Aasco Motorsports. Very cool.

The nice touch for us with these stickers was getting our sponsors prominently placed on every car in the field for the "national" event.

Special thanks to West Valley Hobbies, Fastkart, RacedayRC and MLP Motorsports.
