What a great day of racing. First off I'd like to congratulate Troy Kendall and Paul Hatfield for winning the first two races in our brief Porsche Cup history. Paul's consistency in the second race was staggering. Huge kudos to our rookies to the series, MIke Long, Kent Ryther, Nicole McCrea, Robert and Colby Yardley... job well done. Racing for 30 minutes isn't that easy but I'm sure you'll all agree that getting into a rythmn is a lot easier. Also the benefit of really sensing how a car can change over an entire run. It is always great to race with Anthony and I know many of you had sweet battles on the track with him as he always races close and fair... at least when he's not cutting the track by flying off road domes to battle in the next corner.

I will need to make some adjustments to the HTML output. I'm not sure that our membership # or ID# can be used for car# in the race but I will ask the Alycat man. Also it counted our 2 races as "rounds". That could work to our advantage and would declare a "event" or "Meet" winner.

Sorry so many of you left before we could hand out prizes. Congratulations to Heather Landefeld for a job well done marshaling her father's stricken car about 1,000 times. For her efforts she was awarded a JR Radio field chair. Troy Kendall won a JR travel mug and a very nice one I might add for his winning the first Porsche Cup race and adding a 3rd place to it. Last was a JR hat to Mike Long for Rookie of the Day. The series will also award prizes with some of the funds and our first prize is a set of new Sorex "shoes" for Anthony for racing hard with circa 1996 Losi -White dot tires. Great job everyone and thanks for coming and breaking the proverbial bottle of champagne on the hull of the 2007 Porsche Cup series.
