I found this very interesting after my chat with Fred at Tamiya America... now I'm not taking the credit here but I do find this addition to the TCS weekend coincidental...

2007 TCS Finals Sneak Peek

At this time there will be only 3 classes eligible to win the trip to the Tamiya World Championships in 2007. Those classes are: GT-1, GT-2 and Mini. Additional classes will run at the TCS North American Finals and will qualify for a TCS North American title, trophy and prizes. Those classes are: F103GT, TamTech/Gear Super Cross X, Past Champions Throw Down and the New TamTech Gear GT-01 Porsche Cup 20 car Challenge. (Twenty 1/12-scale Porsches racing wheel to wheel at the Tamiya circuit!)
